Markov Chains?

Ten years ago I capped off graduate school with the most difficult course I ever had to tackle. Deceptively titled “Computer Performance Modeling” as part of my Computer Networking degree, it was a pure math class that was 100% Markov chains from start to finish. I still use the concepts today, in a less vigorous manner, to frame probabilities around interlinked and dependent events. This video was the best introduction I’ve seen to simplify the concepts and demonstrate why they are relevant today.
