UNC Cause 2018

My first UNC Cause conference was interesting. I met some new contacts over the various NC schools but also reconnected to a few old ones. I attended a number of sessions but also was on the schedule for two talks.

DNS Filtering

The first talk was co-led with Alex Everett of the UNC Security department. We covered how UNC evaluated, selected, and implemented a solution for campus. The session itself was packed with a number of people standing in the back. The slides are available for review.

Spreadsheets to Modern DDI

The second talk was the very last session of the conference and sadly had a lot less attendance. A representative from Infoblox was there along with a couple other schools in attendance. This talk focused on my recent project to modernize the campus DNS and DHCP systems. Like the first talk, it focused on the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a solution. The slides are also available for review.
